About the role

We are looking for a Compliance Officer to support our Zurich team until the end of the year. You will help manage compliance risks and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies in an environment where both English and German are used.

Key responsibilities

• Perform compliance monitoring and track follow-up actions.

• Review cases involving potential compliance risks, document findings and escalate issues as appropriate.

• Advise operational teams on the application of internal policies and procedures.

• Help maintain compliance policies, procedures and training materials.

• Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on business activities.

• Prepare compliance reports and support audits and internal reviews.

• Collaborate with Legal, Risk and operational teams in English and German.

Your profile

• University degree in Law, Finance, Economics or a related field.

• Relevant experience in compliance, internal control, audit or risk management.

• Good understanding of the Swiss regulatory environment and the ability to translate requirements into practical actions.

• German: minimum B2 level required, both written and spoken.

• English: professional proficiency, both written and spoken.

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.

• Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently.

• Sound judgment and a high level of discretion when handling confidential information.

• Available to start as soon as possible and commit until 31 December 2026.
